Surprises are rare on Io, but the body you’re all currently standing around feels especially unexpected: a handsome young man in a tailored suit, blood running from his eyes, nose, and the small chrome implant at his left temple. He looks completely unlike the weary souls who inhabit 6411’s grimy halls, which raises all sorts of alarming possibilities. A technician found him this morning whilst investigating an erroneous maintenance request from DEGOYA, the station’s administrative AI, and called it in. You’re not sure if anyone else knows yet.
